Why do some Jockeys (horse rider) have high voices?

  1. The same reason people in any profession might have a high voice - everyone is different and some people's voices are a higher pitch than others.


  2. because there vocal cords are smaller. so they make a higher pitch

  3. Well jockeys are small so the horses don't have to carry much - you're probably confusing cause and effect.  They just don't have as developed vocal cords the way more mature looking people do.

  4. the horses respond to that tone better vs. a deeper sound.

  5. just a guess here but maybe it's because there gonads get crushed riding those horses.
