This is what many of them have told me.Like there are no white Mexicans. The demograhics of Mexico show Mexico asa mixed race country. That claims 2% Asian,1% black,10% Caucasian,25% Natives & the rest is called mixed Whitespanish & native blood. But many Mexican Americans have told "All Mexicans are brown" These people not from Mexico, but rather there Grandfathers(Abuelitas) or Parents are. There are many Guerros in Northern Mexico,I've seen people with blue eyes & brown hair there. My friends from Mexico will tell you this, but i've met many American born Mexicans who said this is never true.Basketball Star Eduardo Najera & Julieta Venegas are from Northern Mexico & look very Spanish,if you ask me.I've seen Mexicans in every shade, from Cinnamon to yellow to white, they are very diverse. For the record,I'm not trying to offend anyone. But I've meet many MexicansAmericans who said they are a homogenous people. Why is this???

  1. I guess then al the mexican-americans you have met are idiots that should travel more. For the record, you can become a mexican by birthright if you are born on mexican soil even if none of your parents are mexican citizens just like in the US.

Anyone that is güerito but their abuelita was spanish is a mexican no matter what their skin or eye color is.

That saying is just as dumb as like saying every American is white with blue eyes and blonde hair and that all the people that aren't that way is not really american but yeah they are american but I don't know whyz LOLZ!!!!!11111111!!!

There's a lot of mexican actors and directors that are getting some fame in the US and they are of spanish descent: Gael García Bernal, Ana de la Reguera, Guillermo del Toro, Alejandro Gonzalez Iñarritu, etc... Gael García has green eyes to boot and Guillermo del Toro has blue eyes and even looks american.

Heck, Cameron Diaz is half mexican.

  2. I am from Monterrey, México, I am white, tall, redhair, green eyes... Believe it or not, I do not have any kind of troubles to cross the border because they believe I am american, well, I can cross the border legally, but often the custom does not ask me to show him my papers.

Many people from northern México is like me. Entire towns. I can name you in Nuevo León: Santiago, Cadereyta, Allende, Montermorelos, Linares, Sabinas, are plenty of white people, most of them white.

There is a town, Sombreretillo, small town, where almost all the people is blond, blue eyes. The girls are so beautiful, and so they are in Monterrey.

Despite the skin color, I never have felt mistreated by the brown people in México City or south México, and very curios, they never ask me if I am from USA. In Mexico city, there is a kaleidoscope of skin. Is a very cosmopolitan city.

The "mexican american" people, probably are more american than mexican.

You know what is said in México about them?

Whe we go shopping to Laredo, Mcallen, San Antonio, Houston, we are best treated by the caucasian than by the "mexican-american". The first one are very helpful and the second ones dont want even to talk in spanish, despite they can.

  3. Cause they not really Mexicans if you ask me.

Also mot of them come from small towns where there only one doctor. Just check Guadalajara probably the second largest city and most of them are light skin and blue eyes.

  4. beacuse they are uniformed.

  5. it's true... MY best freinds and I...All Mexican

    1 caucasian

    1 Asian-European (7ft tall!!!)

    1 Asian-Latin

    1 Dark skin Native

    3 mestizos (European-Native)

(pretty much the demographics you show.. that's funny, I never saw it that way before)

Maybe the American-Mexicans (Chicanos) have never been to Mexico or just remember what they see on tv.. obviously detail of people will change as you move from region to region, but you will find a cool mix among all of us!!
