Why do some Muslims in the Ramadan section say...?

Fahreen: 'if you dont insult our religion, you are most welcome'.

What happened to free speech? And define 'insulting'? Sometimes I ask a valid question or make a valid point & people still get insulted.

I guess some people feel like this is their "section" and no one else is welcome, and only them and a select few are welcome here. I think anyone and everyone is welcome on yahoo, anywhere you go. ..

Everyone is entitled to be a part of the Ramadan section whether you are Muslim or not.  

I think what Fahreen was trying to say is that as long as you are not in here with the sole intention of insulting or defaming our religion, then you are welcome. :)

There are so many people here that are here to insult and degrade islam and ask such stupid questions...i think what they mean is that if you aint muslim or at least a person who is here asking an question about islam that there is no point you being in this section!! Its not like 50yr old men are in the beauty section askin about tools for cars etc....!!

Good ? We should not ignore, but teach. We r taught all r muslim, but if the person is ignorant, that is every opportunity, when they visit, is to teach. There is an obvious curiosity-brilliant opportunity!

EDIT: by insult, i mean people who call Muhammad s*x maniac, Allah a sock puppot ( whatever that is) like Love From Iran does... you are free to express your views unless you start calling names!

i dont know but, is a Muslims duty to tell whoever wants to know about Islam, if someone wants to know about our religion we should tell them, but the only thing that i dislike is when we tell them then the insults start.

i dont have a problem with non- Muslims being here but please have some respect, some of the things that have been said are very insulting..................

u cant control what everyone has to say. They're practicing their freedom of speech too.  But some ppl are ignorant.  Muslims fight amongst themselves in this section more so than what a hand full of non-muslims who mostly ask reasonable questions.

Dont give into their bigotry and stay as long as u like!

That is not a true statement.  This is a public forum and any kind of person can post here so long as it's within Yahoo! guidelines.  

I think people say stuff like that because they perhaps have a bit of a bully's mentality and like to put people down, to make them self feel better.
