Question:

Why do some Swedish people have dark hair, dark eyes, and skin?

I know most Scandinavians have blond hair, blue eyes, and pale skin but I am wondering why some are the opposite? Is there anything in history (including migration of another country or anything) that can explain this?

I have often wondered this as well.  My mother is a first generation Swedish.  Therefore, I am half Swedish.  As a child, we often went to the beach in Florida.  My mother, brother and sisters and I would come back from the beach with a darker complexion than our Cuban neighbors.  In fact, my Grandpa Ericson has an olive complexion and has an instantly dark tan in the sun.  Perhaps, the Vikings were sewing their wild oats back in the day.  Maybe, they had a thing for the pretty Medittaranean girls when they were plundering the Roman Empire...
