  1. its called destiny..hahaha lolss

  2. There are various reasons such as how good management is in terms of running the company.  Is the company efficiently using its resources and aircraft?  A parked aircraft does not generate revenue for the airline so Southwest tries to have quick turnarounds at the gate.

An airline's reputation is also important as well as the destinations they fly to.  That will help determine whether or not they can attract passengers to fly with them.  Marketing efforts are important as well.

Relationships with employees are important.  If the employees don't feel as though you care, they will not treat their job as important and the customers will suffer thereby causing them to switch airlines.  Eastern Airlines actually had a bad relationship with their employees.  The employees ended up running the airline to ground as they felt the airline was better off bankrupt.

The level of competition also helps determine if an airline will succeed or perish.  Airline tickets tend to be lower on routes where multiple airlines compete for passengers.  If an airline has a monopoly on a route or an airport, the ticket prices will be higher.

  3. just like any company some are good at what they do and some suck.

I just had really crappy service that left me stranded in Atlanta for 2 days... I had to go out and purchase a ticket on a different airline so I could get home.

I personally fly alot and will probably never fly that airline again if I can avoid it.

Any other business travelers on my flight probably agree and that airline will perish.

  4. *****Customer Service ~ Southwest Wins

    Low Fares ~ Southwest Wins

Still serving snacks ~ Southwest Wins

Flights on time ~ Southwest Wins

Follow?  I know I'll never fly USAir again ~ 2 different trips on them, 2 entirely different horror stories!

American?  Now they're nickle and dimeing their passengers

    United?  Same as American

All of the major Airlines and their customer service?  Horrible

Shall I go on?  I'll only fly SWA from now on!
