...regardless of how relevant or not to the question it is?Seriously can you people not treat a question as hypothetical?Firstly I KNOW there are Christians who treat the existence of god as a certainty but it can be taken as read that that's their belief. I want to know why some atheists seem to think that it's worthwhile making a post (for example) saying nothing more than 'Jesus wasn't real' in answer to a question about his skin tone.a) How does that answer the question?b) Why would you do that? What's the point? There seem to be three possibilities:1) They are being deliberately annoying.2) They think that stating it enough times makes it true (I don't care if it is or not repeating it will never make it more true)3) They seriously believe that it is true and they must convert all non-believers to their beliefs to save them from lies and evil. (note the parallels with Christianity)4) They're looking for an easy two points5) They think it makes them look cleverSo why do these 'answers' keep showing up? I don't care about whether they are right or wrong I want to know their reasons for the submission.
