I have no idea why I was chosen to love and trust the Lord and my husband does not.

I see others on here at yahoo who refuse the good news of the gospel.

Why??

  1. Some of us just grew out of our invisible friends, and some never do.

  2. Because they don't want to accept the fact that they have to be good on earth. Some people just want to party all of the time.

  3. It is tied to where you were born, and strongly correlated with IQ.

If you were born in India, you would "choose" to love and trust Krishna.

The higher your IQ, the less likely you are to believe in god.

  4. B cuz the world is just that way.  I wish that the entire world could believe the gospel the way we do.  We weren't chosen, we choose.  Two completely different things but it all comes back to the the same thing:  We are who we are and that determines the choies that we make.  Unfortunately.... Pray for your husband.  Pray that God has chosen him to choose Him.

  5. It's sad but the Bible says it would be so.

  6. Some people read and search the scriptures and choose to believe. Some people reject research and choose not to believe.

We as Christians must intercede with prayer, binding and releasing by the Power and Authority of Christ Jesus in our lives and wait on the Lord God's purpose to be filled in that persons life ot receive the free gift of salvation by faith in God.

  7. What is your background/upbringing religiously as compared to your husband?  That has much more to do with it than your IQ!  As a child you learn to accept things as you are taught both intentionally and by example.   If a child is taken to church, told about Jesus, and talked to about the whys of the religion he is more likely to accept it without question.  Just in the same way if a child sees a parent stealing things from a store and is encouraged to use inappropriate language, he will believe this is normal and it will continue.

As adults go through life they go through events where they naturally question their religious beliefs.  Some adults search until they find a religion that will tell them what they want to hear. Others will stick with their religion and accept that sometimes life is tough.  Your husband probably has a reason that he is doubtful. About the only thing you can do is pray that he will find the right path.  Good luck!

  8. Some of us aren't superstitious or self-righteous.

  9. Same reason you don't accept the Koran?
