luck,

location,

products/services sold,

demand for product/services

undercapitalised,

competition,

fads/fashion,

poor services,

ineffective advertising,

etc.

ren he - Human harmony

Simple example:

Timing - Don't sell suntan lotion on a rainny season.

Location - Don't set up wedding planning business next to a palour

Human Harmony - Many combination... ie blemish skin selling beauty product, operation do not see eye to eye with management, sales team promising things that engineers cannot produce, wrong partners... etc all are wrong combinations of human factor leading to failure.

Not to mention the other factors like... the 5 orders of life success....

Yup, chinese are very superstitous when it comes to business...!!!

Hmm... re-thinking of going into business now?

It's usually to do with the 'Great Idea' someone came up with at the beginning. It may be a great idea to some, but the secret is to find out what the majority of the potential market feels about the so called 'greatness' of the idea.
