Why do some doctors think they are hot?

Some doctors are the rudest people. They don't thank people for going to them for services. Some doctor was yelling at a nurse in the hospital. This type of behavoir.

Some doctors are very unprofessional and get a "God complex" when they get that degree.  Most I have worked with are not like that.  On the rare times I did encounter someone like that, I either quickly referred them to my manager or stood my ground.  

I have experienced this kind of behavior with some nurses, too.  

Go figure.

If someone is innapropriately rude, I do file an official complaint.

Perhaps as a guest in the hospital, you should contact them and tell them of the incident.  The operator should be able to direct your call to the appropriate person.  If you send in a written letter, it will carry more leverage.  Your name and personal info will not be distributed outside of the people taking the complaint and it will not reach the folks you are complaining about, especially if you don't know who they were.

If you don't know the exact people's names you can at least trigger a hospital-wide reminder of how to behave professionally and to follow the chain of command when there are conflicts.  Everyone has a boss, including the doctors.

For my second job I work in a hospital, and I witness this type of behavior all the time.  It really is disgusting.  When you DO meet a polite and gracious doctor it almost takes your breath away...literally.  And it shouldn't be the way!  It should be the other way around.

I try to play Devil's Advocate and put myself in their shoes.  How stressful it must be to be a physician in a hospital.  But at the end of the day, I feel as though there is no excuse to disregard being civil to people.  Some doctors really need to be kicked down from their pedestals.

One word: ego. They (some, most) think they are god, when in reality, they're nothing but shills for Big Pharma. I have no use for quacks.
