Question:

Why do some drinks go down faster than others?

I find that when I'm drinking chocolate milk, it seems to go down much faster than other drinks--and then I usually end up drinking a lot more of it, since it doesn't last as long. When I drink soda, which I enjoy just as much, I can be just fine with one, maybe two glasses during a meal. But if I have chocolate milk, I could go through an entire half gallon of the stuff if I didn't stop myself, just because it goes down so easily.

Yoohoo goes down even faster....I can drink an entire can of that stuff in one breath.

Why is that?

  1. carbonated drinks are harder to swallow, it takes longer to swallow them

  2. maybe it is because coke is carbonated and chocolate is just milk and chocolate and it taste so darn good.

  3. Depending on the thickness of the drink & texture.
