Ok, I am driving at at least 55 mph, and I get cut off by someone barley doing 25mph. To top it off, they never even speed up to adjust to traffic. What is it with these people? Why don't they care about the accidents they can cause?

  1. because they are rude people to begin with, no manners. some of these drivers ed instructors need fired too!

  2. Its all because ignorance is bliss!

you could always do like I do and as you are passing them, drift into thier lane once you are past thier fender.....  it normally wakes them up and they start paying attention ;)

  3. Thats what they make air horns for

  4. SELF-IMPORTANCE.

That's it in a nutshell. These are the people who give you dirty looks as if you did something wrong. Some people are clueless, but there are thos that just don't give two squirts about anybody else.

  5. Self-centeredness.

  6. Just ram 'em! They'll get it. Seriously though, there is no real answer for your question. Best I can come up with is people like that are rude, and oblivious to everything around them.

  7. They don't care because many drivers on the road are just so clueless as to how to drive that they don't even know they've done anything wrong.  Unless you can't stop and happen to drive right through the back of their car, chances are they never realize they did anything wrong and they'll do the exact same thing day after day until someone CAN'T stop and something bad happens to them..

I see drivers doing dangerous/stupid/illegal things like this every single day and I have yet to ever see a police officer pull them over for it.  It seems like if the offenders aren't speeding or weaving across the middle line the cops will normally give them a pass.
