It doesn't happen often, but once in a while, when I'm walking through the mall or down a sidewalk or whatever, there will be two or more girls approaching me from the opposite direction. They'll be talking and acting like everything is normal until just before we pass each other, then one of the girls farthest from me will shove one of the girls nearest me into me or into my path so I have to stop. Sometimes she shrieks and runs away, sometimes she says "excuse me" and goes around me, sometimes she just stops and stands there. It has never happened with guys or more adult women; it just seems to be teenage girls doing it. I've never seen it done in a movie, on television or to anyone else. Is this some sort of game? Am I supposed to react a certain way or say a certain thing? I usually just stop for a second and smile and say "hello" or "hey, chill" or whatever comes to mind before continuing on my way, but really WTF is up with this? Do I have a certain look that compels them to do this bizarre thing to me?
