I don't think it's relevant to being "tough".

I would think anger which leads to no self-control.

People have no right to harm each other, no matter the gender, the only exception is self-defence.

I think the only men who think that it's considered "tough" to harm a female shows that they're the exact opposite and they're actually cowards. There is no excuse for them, but rather underlying issues that they need to deal with, because it's definitely not okay.

No one has the right to harm anyone else...but, that said, let me add that 'harm' includes physical, psychological and/or spiritual damage...and many people, including women, would be well advised to 'mind their mouths' as some of them can, literally...''with their mouths", drive some men mad...  That does NOT give anyone a 'right' to take revenge, however, it might help to understand how to avoid some of the 'rage'...in the future...

I wouldnt expect that too many g*y men bash women.. i would have thought more straight men did.. and it would have had nothing to do with siding with anyone. More to do with seeing violence in the home.

No idea. It's a real turn off, too. People [both genders] who could cause some serious damage to people are generally self-disciplined enough to know not to without a valid reason. Unfortunately, this is not the case for everyone.
