Why do some men have a different color beard than their hair color ( like black hair and red beard)?

isn't hair color on the s*x choromosomes? if so then how could men have 2 diff color hair if they're not kleinfelders and they don't have bar bodies?

Some of your comments are Stupid!  Not saying those that made them are but the statements are.

I have Red hair, have had it since birth.  I have Brown eyebrows and eyelashes, Black chest hair, Red Pubic hair, and finally Red/brown and Now Black beard. 

I never had the black beard before but now I have spots that are growing black hair.   Im only 33 years old so it isn't like I am middle aged.  I  have no idea why.  I am in the process of trying to find answers.

I have 5 brothers who have hair colors ranging from blonde to black, and 4 of them have red beards.

They don't dye their beards.
