Why do some men use & abuse submissive women?

Note: "Some" men, mind you, not all. & my definition of submissive is serving your husband/spouse, making sure that his needs are met before his, allowing him to have the final say, etc. etc. Why is being a submissive wife/girlfriend looked down upon & why do some men discard these woman like trash?

Because they are submissive! Once you give that man the green light that it's ok to smack you around and talk to you like trash, he's going to keep doing it and then expect that it's his right to.  If you decide to speak up later it will be too late. You gave him all the control when in the first place you had it all...women make this mistake all the time, giving up what they want and need to keep a man around. Love is really blind!  Speak up! Be heard!

The same reason why SOME women abuse submissive guys. It is natural human nature to get the most out of something you can, the more submissive the more the other person pushes.

The simple answer to this question is: BECAUSE THEY LET THEM DO IT........ some of these women are blind due to love, others simply don't want to admit it, but the root of the problem is that they allowed it and continued the relationship due to fear of being alone or any other reason, still those reasons are not justifications for abuse.

By the way, I don't think that being a "submissive wife" is looked down upon (at least not by me) but in today's society it is much better for women to be smart than to be submissive as "do whatever he says even if it is not what I want" that's not good for anybody. I only see slu++y women as trash, so I am definitely not like "some men" you describe. Probably those who discard submissive women are doing it because they (these women) are shy or because they simply depend on their husband completely. For me, submissive women are not a turn-off at all because they tend to be great long-term partners and most have a heart of gold (I know a few). However, in our society I would not recommend ANY woman to be submissive, unless she is also smart enough to hook up with the right husband. But once again a woman that smart is probably not submissive anyways....

Because they can easily get whatever they want, whenever they want. They can just do whatever they want with that type of woman.

Well they abuse submissive women in particular because those are the type of women that are willing to put up with it. I think they do this because they don't feel good about themselves. Maybe they feel inadequate and want to feel like they have some kind of power. Its sad really. They need help and so do the women that allow them to hurt them.
