Question:

Why do some non-yahoo websites use your questions for their forums?

I looked my old Y!A screen name and found websites like http://audiopromotionpro.com/?cat=4 linking to and hosting questions that I asked on Yahoo! Answers. No related emails were sent to me, and I haven't even heard of these websites until now. The websites have many other questions, and I'm guessing that most of them were posted without the asker's permission. Isn't doing that violating my privacy rights as well as any copyright Yahoo! and/or I might hold? How can I get the website to remove my questions?

Thanks in advance for any help.

  1. Once you post something on the Internet, pretty much anyone can use it. Presumably they aren't making money off of it so I doubt you can do anything. You can email them maybe and ask? But I wouldn't expect much from them.
