Why do some of my friends think its wrong for a puerto rican girl me to date and like black boys?

My friend always gets mad at me when i hang out with them. But i don't care cause the only race i really like to date is black. I love them and the boy im talking to

As long as you are happy that is the main thing, maybe if your friends were to meet this guy, they might actually think he is nice instead of judging him by the colour of his skin.

But you will always find people like this, instead of getting to know people for who they are they judge them by their religion / skin / how people dress/ and lots of things.

It goes back to the old say "Never judge a book by its cover".

People are not used to women dating outside thier race. For men it's ok but for women it's still taboo. Say it's your taste and your not into any one else and that as your friend she shouldn't judge you.

maybe they dont like black people. im puerto rican also and my bf is black. hes friends with my friends who are white. my friends dont care that hes black. i guess puerto rican girls are attracted to black guys. haha. but if theyre really u friends then they wouldnt get mad at u for liking a black guy. thats really messed up. i suggest you talk to them about it.

I would have to get to know your friends to really be able to answer this correctly and to the full extent. I would guess it is simply a misunderstanding of race. They simply can not judge whether a boy is good or bad for you by the color of his skin. Or they may just decide to decline a likeing to any of your flings so they can selfishly keep you all to thereselfs.
