Why do some of the states at the convention 'pass'?

  1. They pass so that the candidate's home state can cast the winning vote.  Not because they don't want the candidate's feelings hurt.


  2. Don't want to rock the Boat, by voting not to support.  

  3. They pass because the presumptive presidential candidate may not like their answer as to how they voted. You get my drift?
