People tend to believe what is easiest to believe for them.  If an idea would lead to moral comdemnation, forced change of lifestyle, or contradiction with religious beliefs, then people will merely grasp some other preferred perception, no matter how far it flies in the face of reality.

there is a lot of evidence of man made climate change .and there are many reasons to hide the truth

scientists who work for politicians ,get paid by these politicians and they have downplayed the facts because solutions are expensive and means change.

And change effects many peoples incomes,and upsets profit margins,so most of the world is kept in the dark of the real things that are going on.for political and economic reasons

apart from that the public hates to be blamed for anything or change their behaviour ,

Also the climate change is not mentioned in the Bible and many doggedly believe that mans fate is in Gods hands

and that Mans reward ,his beautifull place to rest is in heaven after death

But Many of us believe that Man is instrumental in his future and that paradise is here on Earth whilst alive, this sounds a better deal somehow

Because they listen to the media and the people who are trying to convince everyone that global warming is not a problem.  This is being done by people who are more interested in making money than the safety of the human race.

Because they care about the 2,000 children a day who will die because the money spent on a hoax was not available to feed needy children. What we need to do is stand up to the insanity by implementing the following common sense programs:

1. End all tax on gasoline

2. End all subsidies on public transportation. Public transportation is an inefficenct way to travel since there is no way it can be practical . It can never get you from point a to point b at the exact time you want to get from point a to point b.

3. Arrest all environmental       issts including those who are trying to force this hoax down our throats.

4. To the idiotc answer below. Do you really think the media is against. this hoax? The media is one of the reasons this hoax will not go away.

Why not let those who do not care about the prosperity of future generations pay for this hoax. The gov't should send out a survey reading as follows: Do you believe in man made global warming? Those who say yes than should be sent a bill from the gov't for $5,000.00 to pay for the cost to correctr this problem that does not exist.

Those who believe in man made global warming need to ask Almighty God for forgiveness for their lack of faith in God. If they had faith they would know only God can destroy the earth.  Maybe they should go to Mass sometime and pray instead of trying to steal from their fellow human being and sending children to a life of hunger or even to      .

Another point is there are still thousands who believe the earth is flat but I do not see the gov't spending billions of dollars to make it round.

The world needs to grow up. This is not the eleventh century where junk science was believed as fact but the 21st century where you would think we had advanced past this nonsense.

not know what are long term effects of it.if the trees cannot be planted,i think bushes are fine too to clean the air/atmosphere and it has also cooling effect to the environment if planted in makro quantity in all countries!

There is no Factual data to support it.

The scientist that developed the theory 2 Months ago recanted this theory because the data is flawed.  The earth does warm and cool over 100 years it is a normal cycle.

Some people only care about themselves, and don't see global warming as directly hurting them.

Then there are those who seem not to care, but are actually overwhelmed with the whole global warming issue.  So they do nothing because it seems insurmountable.  They are so accustomed to their lifestyle that changing it seems impossible.  Like getting big truck people into small cars.  Or Investing our tax dollars in mass transit.  

And then others are simply uneducated on the matter.
