Why do some parents?.......?

not press charges on older males when they find them with there very young teenagers?I've seen this quite often.Barely teenage girls and out of school males.I believe there is a law against this?!

There is but sometimes parents forget how young their girls are.  I am a victim of statuory and no the girl is not ready to handle what is happening.  Now that I have been older the man knows that it is VERY wrong to like a teen girl.  They need to get a life.  They need to grow up theirselves and get with someone their own age.  God Bless!

Maybe they're in a serious relationship and their parents are ok.  If they know the guy and he's been in the picture for awhile, they may be ok with the guy.

Because they are too LAZY so they use the excuse"well heh heh you cant stop em so you maight as well join em hehe he let em do what they want and they will like you and things will go easier you wont have to be bothered and you can watch tv in peace hehe heh".

Well, if the parents don't care why should anyone else? It's the girls own fault for ruining her life. And if the parents won't press charges and the girl is legal then it is not really a problem.

there is no law to prevent them "dating" maybe it is an innocent relationship, as in no s*x.......Yrs back i knew a girl of 14 who was dating a guy of 20. she was a virgin and intended to stay a virgin untill she was at least 16 (age of consent) her parents knew about the relationship and trusted their daughter..

they ended up splitting shortly before her 16th birthday, because she wanted to concentrate on her school exams

most girls will do any thing for there fella even if his older than them and you have to get your daughter to tell it just don't happen .. well not very often and if get pregnant then they don't want to get farther in trouble?  you knowing is one thing then you got to prove it ?  Innocent till proved guilty and she ain't saying mummy... my daughter was one he boy freand was 10 years older .... its so fustrating

I'd most likely press charges - but maybe the parents feel that their daughters are just as much to blame.
