Why do some people act all snotty when they have degrees not?

everyone but some, i nearly have one but dont think i am better than anyone else

Probably because these are people who would act snotty no matter what.  If it wasn't their degree they would find something else to feel superior about.

People act "snotty" because they don't feel too secure about themselves. Maybe some of them get nasty because they don't think they deserve the degree(s) they have.

I wouldn't do this to one of your profs, but the next time somebody mouths off to you, say, "I'm so sorry you can't feel good about yourself without putting somebody else down."

I received my degree (BS environmental science) after being out of high school for over 15 years,so no at least I dont feel above anybody that dosent have one and those who do and let people know all the time probably have underlying issues or are borderline narcissist.

Good for you, don't lose that, many do...you will be the better in the long run if you remain from turning into snotty...Good Luck...

it takes sacrifice to take the time to get one, and people think if you have not made that sacrifice, they can play martyr.

Well it's because they want to make it seem like they are better than you and they want t make a degree sound like the greatest thing ever.
