Question:

Why do some people ask questions& than insult those that try to answer if they don't like answer?

Some of us do give funny answers, which p**s others off.(myself included) But we do try to give helpful answers also.The answers & suggestions can't have been tried within seconds of asking the questions. you will find such person through my profile. Arrrrgggghhhh

  1. They do it because they know they can. I found the question and I agree... the person was undeniably rude. Forget about it though, they're not worth the hassle or worry.


  2. Even though I'm quite new to Yahoo! Answers, I've already noticed how rude some of the askers are, especially to answerers who don't answer the way the askers want.  It's particularly ironic how often this happens in the Etiquette threads.

    Some of the rudest people are the quickest to accuse others of rudeness.  The impersonal nature of Internet communications just makes some of these people feel safer to be obnoxious.  

    I blocked one poster today and won't be answering any more of his questions.  Why bother? =)

  3. The ones who insult and report answerers they don't like are the prime examples of members of the YA community.

  5. Some people don't want to ask a 'question' and then get answers, they want to put their thoughts out there and get others who agree so they can feel better about their own opinions.

    **Frog, I don't know if you meant me there, but I wasn't refering to anyone specific.  I was just stating that, IN GENERAL, people who attack answers often do so because they only want to hear from like minded individuals
