The majority of the questions are for helpful hints, opinions or like experiences. But some of them seem to be easily answered just with a search instead of waiting for people to answer your post. Maybe it's just me...

  1. Some people are not familiar with how to use search engines or they don't persevere. Some find computers intimidating so they rely on familiar sources. And some find asking here a bit more personal and reassuring. Oh-some of them are trying to get points and make connections.

  2. some people don't have your Internet savvy or they want someone with experience searching for something cause they don't want to go through 56,492 results trying to find what they need

  3. Some people feel more at ease coming here because they can explain the exact problem they have and get more accurate answers.

Example: When I'm having computer issues, I'll search for days on go ogle, when i think I found an answer it is not specific to my operating system, or the symptoms are not exactly what I'm experiencing.  Then i give up, try Y!A and more times than not, I get pretty decent advice about what to do, where to go, or how to fix it.

  4. Because some people like myself would trust people here because they have similar experiences to what I have been experiencing with my ants and my Autistic son being allergic to pesticides and it didn't take long before 7 caring people took time out to answer my question.Thats why.
