Why do some people buy large cars that can carry six or more people, and then ride around in them alone?

how do you know they are always driving alone?  I drive a Toyota Highlanda HYbrid and when I go to work I drive alone.  However, on the weekend I have my husband, my kids, their friends, my mother their sports equipment, groceries blah blah blah.  So how do you know they are the only person in the vehicle??

My first impulse is why does it bother you. It's his or hers car and there personal choice. Are you one of those people that have class envy???

If they are like me it is becuase at times they need the extra room.  It may not be often, but when they need the extra room, they need the extra room.  You may only be seeing them when they are driving alone.  It doesn't mean that they are allways driving alone. Buying a separate car and insurance is expensive.

LOL! Sounds like me. lazt year I bought an 86 Cadillac

and the most friends I let in my car is 2! My car is super comfy, It uses alOT of gaS! I try to even it out by using it as little as possible.
