  1. Wow, you should embarrassed about this. They all ORIGINALLY (you know - at the beginning) came from Africa. Whew.

  2. Because if you go back far enough, Black families are from Africa.  Where did you think Blacks in Jamaica came from a few centuries ago?

  3. For the same reason they call anybody who speaks what they think is Spanish, Hispanic. Laziness.

  4. that's like if your all say I am a European American .if you're born in this country you should be American first then you tell people you're heritage .it just shows a group of people still are not Americans as they give were there from first investor born here .

  5. Moles have no Shame  Larry !

    It's the Con Way!

  6. Yeah your right no one is forcing a name upon you anyways by the way Jamaicans are of African decent also all humans are of African decent but more recently black people are. But your nationality is where your born

  7. Even Jamaicans are of African descent, and most people of African descent in America are not from Africa, so the term is inaccurate in MOST of its usages.

  8. Great Question!

Everyone saying 'that's where we're originally from'', what about White people, who we just call White. Not even Caucasian just White. Not European American, but just White. I'm Black, like some people are White. I'm not from Africa i am from America (there are White Africans also by the way).

I don't mind being called AA, not making an issue out of it but I's rather be called Black.
