Why do some people cannot appreciate art ?

because everyone has their own opinions and ideas,

so its not that they don't appreciate it,

its that they don't see it like you see it,

so their opinion about it is most likely different.

i find that people involved in the arts appreciate them more,

because they know what work went into it,

and just more about the arts in general.

Some people just don't understand it. I didn't appreciate art until I took a Humanities class that changed my life. Art is about interpretation and those who can not interpret rarely see the value of the art.
