It seems that life is tough enough, and there are enough challenges that you encounter when you are just minding your own business.

So, why is it that there are some who intentionally dig up drama and gossip and hardships? Do they feel the need to seek out more trouble because they get a rush out of it, or they enjoy bringing attention to themselves, or are they simply unable to remain calm and focused on their own lives?

I'm especially thinking of those who are always on the phone or on IM and are in a constant state of "he said she said".

  1. Some bipolar people experiencing mania love drama. The attention doesn't always have to be on them, but they love it and are easily bored (at least in my experience).

  2. I think you pretty much answered your own question. A lot of people seem to be addicted to drama. Maybe it's because they have had so much drama in their lives that it seems like the "norm" for them to keep it going. I also believe that this is something most teenagers go through-not ALL but a lot. Also I believe some people feel superior if they feel like they are better than someone else, which obviously comes from low self-esteem.

  3. bored? want attention?
