Why do some people harrass the handicapped?

OK, this person is harassing me and insulting my intelligence through private emails.

I asked an innocent question a few days ago about Post Polio Syndrome and Parkinson’s Disease.

The answer I got from a “Stephanie” had nothing to do with the question.

She sent me one email calling me a MORON, which I posted here, because HER emails have a block from receiving emails.

She has sent me yet another email, and yet again, calling names and insulting me AGAIN.

I don’t know what that persons problem is, but I am requesting that you refrain from contacting me.

I am also reporting you to YAHOO and if necessary will be reporting to the authorities for harrasment.

This has to stop now.

If you are so insistant on saying I have a sexually transmitted disease that is your problem, not mine.

You don’t know me, I don’t know you, so I don’t know why you are lashing out on me.

If you have a problem, then take it out on someone else please.

I suspect this “Stephanie” is the cleaning lady for some pharmaceutical company and has contracted some STD herself, but in order to convince others, and herself, has to try to convince strangers.

Poor thing……….

Oh, and by the way, Wikipedia is NOT trustworthy, can’t trust that site at all.

So, the messege sent to me from Stephanie was:

From: Stephanie

Subject: To eductate you better since you dont know how to research

Message: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lyme_disease

While Lyme spirochetes have been found in insects other than ticks,[33] reports of actual infectious transmission appear to be rare.[34] Sexual transmission has been anecdotally reported; Lyme spirochetes have been found in s***n[35] and breast milk

Congenital transmission of Lyme disease can occur from an infected mother to fetus through the placenta during pregnancy, however prompt antibiotic treatment appears to prevent fetal harm.

There you go dumbass... whatever helps you cope with your disease.

STEPHANIE, LEAVE ME ALONE.

Back to my question:

Why is this person doing this?

  2. She must think really low of her self to harass the handicapped.

It takes a really sad person to treat people who have disorders bad.

I don't nor will I ever understand anyone that thinks they are better then the next person regardless of who they are or what they have or don't have.  I am sorry you have had to deal with this and if you need to take further action then you do it..

  3. I cannot say why she is harassing you but I can promise you that you are not the one who has a problem.  Someone harassing you like that because of a "condition" that you have or because of a diagnostic label that she or someone else applied to you has too many of her own problems.  If anyone needs help, it's Stephanie.

  4. She sounds like a real piece of work, harassing handicapped people.  As a disabled person (missing left arm below the elbow) myself I know what it's like being gawked at and being called names.  Throughout school was called "captain hook" in reference to my prosthetic arm.  Getting scoliosis and wearing a back brace didn't help either.  I'm decided to be the bigger person and accept who I was and got on with life.  But the person harassing you needs some serious psychiatric help.
