  1. Are you a tobacco or caffeine user? some times that can cause the shakes.  especially caffeine (POP / coffee, etc.).

  2. I think you may have anxiety issues,,go to your DR. and ask him about it ,sounds like you need nerve meds...............

  3. anxiety, nervousness

  4. Don't let these people scare you. There is nothing wrong with shaky hands that should send you running to a doctor. If you are that concerned about it then yes, go see a doctor, but if you were just curious then don't worry about it.

  5. It's actually fairly common for people to have tremors (shaky hands). The most common type of tremor is Essential Tremor, which is generally pretty mild. When diagnosing tremors there are a lot of "ifs" and other unknowns.

If multiple people in your family also have shaky hands, it is possible that you inherited it, in which case it would actually be a Familial Tremor.

If you are the only one then there is a good chance it is from a mutation in a certain gene, and if not then it is idiopathic (a technical term for having no idea what's going on).

There isn't any reason to assume it's something like parkinsons if you are young and otherwise healthy.

If your symptoms are mild then there is no reason to be concerned. If they are really bothering you, you should see your doctor.

A lot of things can make it worse, including stress, caffeine, lots of different medications, etc etc.
