I can't see how the first person who responded didn't understand the question. As to your question, most people have nothing better to do and just want points so they respond to anything whether they know the answer or not. Example, the 1st response you got only want points. Don't let them bother you. They just like to waste your time.

It doesn't matter to me as long as you recognize you are having a problem . . . .

The answer, though, has to do with the idea that people need to feel superior. The safety of being anonymous allows them to let off a little steam they would be afraid of releasing in "real' life.
