Why do some people like having an anaesthetic?

I find it the most scariest thing in the whole world, yet some friends love it???? What is wrong with them!

Well, it's better than being in pain during an operation. I like the gas because it makes me happy. I just roll around on the table laughing. It's great. I don't like the needles because they really burn. I can understand loving the happy gas, but not any other kind.

I never knew that.  I suppose it is just like a step up from getting wasted on alcohol, to drown thought.  Better to face thoughts and situations head on and be the conqueror or run away to a better place than to waste life in a stupor.

I don't know really - I was S**t scared before I had my first one, but now I don't mind them at all. It's just a weird new feeling that we don't usually experience.

I'd find that scary especially if it was out of my control lol

Because when they put the mask on you and give you the drug its like being drunk. The last time I had one the lady called it "margaritas", lol

I suppose some of us had more practice. Our school dentist was a great guy. He always made having an injection something special and nothing to worry about. He could do anything and make it ok.
