Helping the enviorment can be so easy

Here's some ways to help: use as little water and electricity as possible

dont litter

pickup litter (you can get money for recycling cans and bottles in some states)

dont buy products that are tested on animals

dont buy products that take life away from animals (does not include companies that uses animals for their products after they die

dont eat meat inless ur starving

I encourage you to do all of these things!

  1. We should do what we can to help -- reduce, reuse, recycle. But keep in mind that municipal waste only accounts for about 2 percent of all garbage. Industrial waste (large corporations) makes up the rest. It's the big companies that can really make a difference. What we do makes us feel better about ourselves but doesn't contribute much in the grand scheme.

  2. It is good to help the environment for many reasons. But to address your question...I think that some people haven't made helping care for the environment part of their lives yet. Although many people may realize that it is a good practice not to litter for example, they may be just plain lazy to do otherwise.  Many people may not really realize just how little things (such as littering or picking up trash) count towards either harming or helping the environment.

I must add that one thing that won't easily change are people's eating habits! Many aren't going to convert to being strict vegetarians or vegans for the sake of animals or the  environment. The other points though, I agree with you on and encourage people to try to be more responsible in the choices they make and in the habits they practice.

  3. You forgot "stop driving gasoline powered cars".

  4. I agree with everything except for not eating meat. It is not NATURAL for humans not to eat meat. We are naturally carnivores.

  5. U are right. But not all people are like u. There are many cruel people in this world . They only care about money and can do anything to get it. So don't lose heart when someone doesn't help u because they don't care about the environment.

  6. Okay.

  7. been doing that for years!

To answer your question, ignorance & apathy.

Only when it's too late will people realise...

    Thanks from a like mind!

  8. can you repeat that?

  9. Its really easy to save planet in normal life if you take care of few simple things. Such as this video.

  10. are you a vegetarian or do you work for peta??

eat all the animals you want! we can slow global warming by using less fuel and cutting down forests. plus big businesses need to pollute less. oh and recycle. eating animals has nothing to do with global warming. im going to go eat a burger

  11. Its all in your perspective. We were born to eat, drink and be merry. Litter will eventually degrade...in a few hundred years. If our planet is dirty then we can train those microbes that grow as byproducts to generate electricity.

Animals are raised to be eaten. If we don't eat them then they will over populate and eat our resources.Testing animals save human lives...After all, we have dominion over the sea, air and earth and all living things are for our pleasure.

  12. you are very thoughtful, but like they say different strokes 4 different folkes.we all have to live so we must all give a little.nobody wants the planet to die.i love meat but i mix it up mostly deer.have a wonderful life!

  13. Because they feel they dont have to...maybe feel to good to pick it up...i'll admit i use to littter but i dont anymore because everything that is going on and its not cool at all...I now realize that the littlest thing helps our enviroment

  14. Actually, meat production has a huge environmental footprint - a single steak uses about 3000L of water in it's production and then there's CO2 emissions from transport, production and refridgeration. Not to mention the methane produced by tha cattle!

I'm still going to eat meat though because the non-meat sources of protein just don't do it for me.

But back to the main message of this post, if we all do a little bit to help we can make a cumulative big impact.
