  1. usually if someone is talking negative if has somethng to do with how they are feeling. if a person is feeling negative they tend to feel negative about others. some people feel better by being bitchy, it gives them energy or make sthem feel alive. i have noticed this myself. i think it is an issue with them self not th eperson they are talking about. let them keep their negative energy and ignore them cause you dont want that energy.

  2. we live in a competitive society.  everyone is trying to outdo the next person.  it will never end.

  3. A bit of all I think. Jealousy, insecurity and vindictiveness all rolled into one pathetic attack on another person in attempt to crush their self esteem. It makes them feel that little bit better about themselves. Unfortunately you'll find this everywhere.

  4. I would assume it's to make themselves better... survival of the fittest is still a main factor in achieving success after all. And if the means cutting down others to get to the top people will do it.

Have you read 'An inspector calls' -Sort of about that. How little people realise they are exploiting other's weaknesses. Very good play.

  5. I think they are sad little people who are very unhappy with their own lives and want you to feel the same in order to make themselves feel superior!

  6. This are the people that want other to fell sorry for them. It's sad really. like girls who fish for compliments..

Being insecure is one thing. But searching for pitty is a all time low...

  7. It's their own insecurities.

  8. benjamin straight writes:  Because misery loves company, people don't like others happier or more successul than them, and everyone believes they are entitled to the utmost success.  We are a player hater culture by design.

  9. Because some people are miserable and want to put others in that same position.

Oh and this is so common in the work place.  Just remember this, You decide your own destiny,  No one else!

Keep your friends close and your enemies closer.

Don't put your personal business out there because people who are callous will throw it back in your face.

  10. i dont know

  11. There are many people who are insecure and do not feel good about there own lives so they try to pull everyone else down with them.  They also do it to try to feel superior or better about themselves.

  12. Majority of people are insecure and under-confident, but band together in an alliance of mediocrity, any showing of strengths or confidence is threatening to this insecure gang and reminds them of their in-capabilities. So it twists them into attack mode as, like some stated above, they immediately seek to spread their miseries, by undermining, denigrating and ridiculing, because these negativity's are what they live with and what they carry within themselves. They do not have the wholesome balance or the emotional intelligence to be anything else.
