  1. Sometimes when all h**l breaks loose I need something to calm my nerves before I kick someones a.s.s. lol

    Sometimes with stress too!

  2. This is not true Sir. I love the taste of a cold good dry white wine. I normally have a good wine and plonk in my house. The good wine is for drinking and the plonk is for cooking. If the good wine is finished, nothing on this planet would get me to drink the plonk...and most certainly not for the effect. In very much the same way that some people love 'stink' cheese, and others wonder what brings a person to eat something that smells vile and rotten. I for instance can not stand overy sweet things. No desert for me thank you. We all have different tastes. But if you are drinking purely for the effect then you are in trouble and it spells danger for you in the future with a capital D, and might turn into a double A. Look after yourself Ayiza!

  3. Because It makes ugly men Handsome and vice versa.lol.

  4. Wine can be very expensive, I know all about that. Grace bought a bottle of wine at the supermarket in Harare on Saturday. It was the last one in the shop, and cost $43,000,000. That is a great deal of money to pay for a bottle of wine.

But it shows that we are very rich here, because we can afford to pat prices like that. And the Americans laugh at us!

  5. Why else would one drink anything except water, but for the taste...........i will not drink something i don't like, if you drink you should enjoy it, i like a glass of wine or Southern Comfort

  6. maybe its because they want to or they seem to have the habit of doing it. i dont drink alcohol. but i drink because im thirsty lol and i dont want to die from thirst.

  7. Many people drink their small shots or chasers and shake their heads, gasp for breath and pull a face as if it tasted absolutely horrible, so why do they drink it?  Just for the intoxicating effect it has on them.

  8. for fun but i don't drink

  9. And I suppose you think that some people pay R150 or more for a first-class bottle of wine just to get pissed on? Your level of cultivation is showing again.

    Pearls before swine...

  10. In my opinion there is no better taste than smooth Johnny Walker Blue being elegantly poured down ones throat.

I for one love the taste of an ice cold beer on a hot summers day or a brandy on a cold winters night, there is no pretense on my part or the part of the majority of others who enjoy the taste behind alcohol, including your state president, Thabo the pisscat Mbeki.

You need to come to the realisation that not all of your personal preferences are shared by others and make an attempt to end your childish belief that all should follow your narrow minded views on most matters or else be living in pretense in your deluded mind.

  11. We do not pretend you muppet, we like it.

  12. Sorry I dont drink. I've never been able to stand the smell of alcohol but I suppose for those who drink taste plays an important role as it does with any being who eats or drinks any beverage. The tongue plays an important role in the enjoyment of the food.

  13. I dont like the taste of most alcohol. So if I drink its one glass of wine or one Dom Pedro (spelling)

Teenagers seem to drink until they puke ... its very childish, waste of money, waste of an evening. Maybe they are trying to find their identity

  14. How can you pretend to drink alcohol for the way it taste. If you drink it you know what the effect is going to be there is no pretention and the effect is sometimes good and sometimes not so good. Moderation is the answer and unfortunately some do not not know where to stop.

  15. I'm a teetotaller for 5 years now, but when I look at the page of a magazine with some of my old favourites on, my mouth waters in remembrance of the taste. It's the taste that did it for me. Nothing nicer than a Spiced Gold, or in winter some OBS. There's no enjoyment in making an idiot of yourself while intoxicated and having to look people in the eye the next day. I have to admit that about 15 years ago, it was cool for me and my friends to drink until we toppled over, but as you grow older and more mature, the taste matters more to you.
