Post a question and if you give an answer they do not agree with block you. I have never blocked anyone unless they made a blatently rude or sexual remark.

This morning somone posted a question, I gave my honest opinion without being rude to the info provided. they then added more information that was left out the first time which contradicted what they said to begin with and then blocked me? What is point of asking on here if you block the ones who do not agree with you?

  1. You are sooo right

whats the point of posting a question when youre only gonna get answers that you already came up with yourself?

  2. We all know that some people are just rude. Just ignore this kind of person. good luck.

  3. some people cant take constructive critisism. its okay i dont get them either.

  4. i agree with you 100%

  5. Well those people must be really annoying haha.  Ya that has never happened with me but that person would be pretty rude.

  6. Maybe they secretly know you and they are embarrassed~

  7. Some people are too immature to handle the fact that others disagree with them.  They haven't learned to handle controversy in a mature fashion.

Usually those people are only looking for validation about themselves and when you don't give it, they act immature.

And by the way, how would you know if you've been blocked?  If it's not even easily apparent, who cares?

  8. It's petty, that's for sure! I agree, why ask questions if you are not mature enough to take the answers!

  9. I agree too.  The point of getting someone's opinion or help is to see all sides of the situation.

  10. I think that a lot of people cannot honestly handle when a person has a different opinion than theirs. All they want to read is someone posting an opinion that they agree with. That's fine to be happy with people who have an opinion that is alligned with yours, but the real test of character is being able to handle those that are vastly different from yours. For example, I posted a response to someone's question about a very very very controversial topic. It is so controversial that there are sure to be feuding comments at every turn. Anyway, since I am well aware of this and am perfectly fine with all who share views that are completely opposite of mine, I am prepared to continue in such discussions. However, there's always that one loose s***w that just has to go bipolar on people for expressing their opinion in a passionate fashion, and believe me, when I express my views, I am extremely passionate. So passionate that I could, literally, come off as almost offensive, without actually being insulting. I call this: Freedom of Speech. It's our Constitutional right, but NO NO NO! There's always some crackpot out there who has a problem with those opposing views and has to PM the person and post threatening messages. If I were one to take such messages seriously, I could theoretically report them, but I am an easy going person by nature and I usually just let it go. I just tend to laugh at these bipolar people. Apparently, they didn't think to sign up for the debate team in high school to learn the art of argumentative dialogue. Anyway, that's my piece....PEACE!!!

  11. I think you can "report" that..can't you?

  12. yeah that bugs me and also people who email you a nasty email and then turn their email options to "do not accept email" so that you cannot respond. Talk about being a coward! Someone did that to me earlier today. They emailed me calling me a breeder for having 4 children then when I went to respond they didn't accept email. Loser.

I've also had people report my answer just because they didn't agree with it. I've even disputed it with yahoo and gotten my answer put back up because it was found to not be a violation.

  13. I just block people who seem totally creepy.

I don't know why someone would block you just because they didn't agree with you, but they're saving you some time if they do, because obviously they're not going to be open to rationally considering your opinions, anyway ... which means you're better off helping someone else.  If everyone who disagreed with me blocked me I'd have to find a different way to fill my computer time, lol.

  14. I block people who are rude and/or don't answer the question posed.  I don't like being judged, and I've learned the hard way that the same people seem to do it over and over.

Now I just block them and save myself the stress.

  15. I agree. Guess it depends on their level of maturity. Many people either don't realize the differences of opinion  they are going to get or just want people who agree with them so they can feel validated. A mature person would realize that not everyone would share the same opinion accept the difference and move on. It is ridiculous. Sometimes even if I don't agree with a person if they make a valid point or their answer I felt was the best one I will give them best answer. I will not however block a person for simply disagreeing with me. That just seems ridiculous. If they insult me personally or say something to me I find offensive I either report them because they are going against yahoo answers guidelines or I simply choose to block them.

  16. There are just some stupid people in the world so you have to be on the look out.

I treat dumb people like that like they are mentally challanged.
