i already asked this, but i want as many responses as possible as i am interested by opposing view points. I am a supporter of Barack Obama, and though i understand why people choose not to support him, i have heard some remarks that he will "ruin the nation" if he becomes president. I think that statement is a little much, but i like hearing both sides of the argument.

  1. People are afriad of change.  Bush approval rating as been so low, but people rather put McCain in Office, instead of Obama just simply because he is Black.  They rather take their chances and vote for McCain knowing full well, he is just like George W. Bush.  Than to give a Black Man a chance.  But, with or without them.  It will be a President Obama and Vice President Biden.  The Hispanics are in the majority now, and I know they will vote for Obama.

  2. Generally, because BO lacks experience in both domestic and international affairs. It is illogical to promote someone who was unproductive as a senator to a position of such worldly authority. He can do just as much damage through indecisiveness as he could through actions. The feeble-minded will claim this view is based on racism, but that is just a political propaganda. Take a close look at his record (or lack thereof) in congress. He was more likely to vote "present" than actually take a stand on any proposal brought before him. Even in those cases, he looked to others (Kennedy, Rangel, Gore, etc.) for guidance. He sponsored only one proposal and lacked leadership for the most part. At least Mr. McCain was able to garner bi-partisan support for issues he felt passionately about. He is also more moderate than most in his stands.

  3. He promises to tax the rich and corporations, rich and corporations have the money and create jobs, so if you want to take that away, why should they create jobs for the people at home.  They are just trying to make the most money for the stock holders, you and I.  If Obama gets in the inflation will kill us.

  4. Opponents were, a few days ago, accusing Obama of being a communist because of his campaigns attacks on McCain's multiple properties. They say that he is against Capitalism because he is attacking a man for being wealthy. They also say that he is friendly with terrorists and believes in black supremacy.

  5. I think the other way around I think Mccain will ruin the nation.  By cutting taxes for the top 1 %  By starting wars anywhere and possibly everywhere.  By making our once beautiful coasts look like one big oil refinery.  He says he was a war hero.  If his daddy was not an admiral he would have received a dishonorable discharge and he would not be in the position he is in today.

  6. where there's black there's trouble someone once told me.

  7. It's standard political hyperbole.  I can't think of a single major candidate for president in the past 20 years that I haven't heard was going to destroy the nation or (in the case of incumbents running for re-election) was destroying the country.

  8. because he,s black and democrat, people don't like changes
