Why do some people say me in place of my?

Like me mom instead of my mom? I don't know if it's just the irish or not even all the irish so I just won't try and specify to upset anyone.

Just the accent, lingo, slang, from there geographic location.

Aha I guess it's jus the accent.

I'm from England and I say that lol sometimes.

EXAMPLE

"Oh c**p I've lost me shoes!"

Instead of my shoes. Lol

It's just an informal mispronouncation.
