Why do some people say "uman" instead of Human?

I have noticed it a lot lately..The H in the human or huge is NOT and has never been silent.

  1. Its called a h factor. Someone with h factor will say 'uman and 'h'apple.  


  2. Some people that were born in different countries pronounce words differently. Its just their way of speaking they can't help it.

In Deep Space  9, a Star Trek series, which ran from 93 to 99,  the Ferengi  Quark and brother Rom pronounced the word human in this way.  So it is an imitation of how an alien might pronouce the word "human."  Hang out around some Start Trek conventions, if you really want to hear this type of pronunication.
