  1. The concept of god was created by humans in order to explain previously misunderstood natural phenomena. There is no evidence of a deity actually existing outside the human imagination.

  2. because they are prideful, arrogant, deceived, ignorant, and hold on to hatred.

  3. mostly, because its true.

if god is a merciful god and loves everone why does he send more than half of them to burn in h**l forever with no second chance

  4. It's a repetitive statement made by someone who has difficulty coming up with original thoughts to answer questions.

  5. they don't have a personal relationship with God.

  6. Personally, I believe you should try to discuss this topic with a real life person, one on one. Not on the chat rooms.

I believe that if they don't have the guts to discuss their "beliefs" in person. They most likely don't really believe it.

  7. It seems pretty self explanatory to me.  What exactly is causing you trouble?

God is a concept made up by primitive peoples who could not understand or explain the natural phenomena around them.

  8. God is NOT a nonsense word created by men!

(it is a real word created by men to explain nonsense)

  9. its self explanitory

  10. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/God_of_the_...

  11.    That,s  just  jibber  from some atheist  because  thats all he can think of,, so  he  just  keep,s on repeating  it so  he can believe it.

  12. That's one user's cut and paste that he adds on to every answer. But what it means is simple and true. The idea of god was created by humankind to explain things in nature that we were not then able to understand. Without humanity's creation and definition of god, then god would have no meaning.

  13. It's someone's opinion with nothing substantial to back it up.

If Christians can be told to provide proof why not nonChristians?

  14. People are lonely/bored and feel like talking to people with s**y avatars. This is why they/me say silly, stupid things.

  15. It is so much easier to be independent from any accountability to someone higher.

That means you can treat others as you please, live your life as you please based on your own standards of right and wrong and be very, very self-absorbed. Why complicate your life with having to adhere to high moral standards?

Why they say so sounds simple to me!

  16. He meant "hollow" or "empty."

  17. Kill the messenger, or in this case the message, and they think that God no longer exists and they are free to do as they wish.  Do not worry, God will not be mocked.

  18. These people fail to realize God is Alpha and Omega. and if they don't give up the demon that uses their souls they are going to be sorry. Get with someone who knows the Word and begin to study it. and for the people who don't how to give up that demon, just ask Jesus, and it shall be done.

  19. It   releases  them  from  any  moral  responsibility.They    now  have  no  moral  landscape  so  they  are  free  to  do  as  they  wish.Its  hard  for  me  to  figure  out  how  they  believe  this  works.I   can't  lie   to  myself  do  they.    THANK  YOU  D'S

  20. It's usually when people try to mix God and science. The God of the gaps, or the explanation that trumps all. When there is something religious people don't understand, they attribute it to the wonders of God. Physicists from centuries past were unable to explain certain things, and so said "it must be the work of God!" And many years later Scientists found the real reason behind it.

How did we get here? Uhh.. I don't know.. Oh, God did it!

Thousands of years ago the same was used to explain all those things we don't understand, and now do. Oh, the 'wonders' of God.

  21. Because it is true.  "God" was primitive man's explanation for that which he didn't understand.  As a species, we have come very far in understanding our surroundings; as such, there is no need to believe in any silly god(s) since intellect has been proven to be far more constructive than superstition.
