Why do some people say that evidence/proofs, are the 'boogieman' of Christians?

  1. Because all evidence/proofs so far have been contrary to the Christian perception of reality.  Boo.


  2. Because knowledge is power, and the church has been trying to prevent people looking past what they teach us in church for centuries. They don't want you to to find out that anything that may dispute the bible or the very foundation Christianity is built on.

    Why do you think the Vatican has the last say whether something is paranormal or not. IF it disputes their belief it is deemed not real, or fake.

    Why do you think the Church tried so hard to prevent the publishing of Dan Brown's "the DaVinci Code" although Brown stated clearly it was a work of fiction, meaning not true, The church looked at it as a threat because it made people think that just maybe...and that shakes the foundation of the church.
