Why do some people say things like "It's just racing"...?

even when someone wrecks someone under caution? I did nto think you could race under caution so how do they come up with that?

Because they are scared of their compeditors and do everything they can to beat them, including racing dirty (smashing, bumping, cutting off...)

Well in that case it wasn't just racing Montoya was way out of line but in most cases it is just racing like back at Richmond with the incident between Busch and Jr that was just racing.

I have no clue! It pisses me off to hear people say, It's jut racing! Racing is just as much of a sport as Baseball. Dale Jr. is just as an athlete as David Ortiz. People think becasue it does not include a type of ball, it should be shuned. Well I think thats c**p. Nascar involves pitstops. People make pitstops every 7 to 8 months. These guys do the same things in 15 secs. every 45 minutes. Nascar RULES!

because there is much more to "just racing" than what happens on the track under green - like mistakes on pit road, bad calls by officials, finishes under caution, etc.

Some things are "just racing" it is part of the sport and simple physics, two objects can not be in the same space at the same time.  As far as the rubbing is racing goes that didn't even get said until Days Of Thunder and rubbing doesn't mean hitting someone and taking them out.

Drivers  say it when they are at fault.

Fans including yours truly say it when their fave is the root cause or if it happens to a driver they don`t care for.

That was just stupid of Juan and Kyle. Juan has no clue what he's doing. It's not "just racing" its stupidity. Kyle Petty even said they were racing back to the caution which you can't do anymore.
