I know plenty of women that really don't belong in the kitchen.

I love to cook and get many compliments about it.

I know quite a few women who really don't like it and are not very good in the kitchen, so why put them there?

Every women has her own special gifts to offer this world, but if it ain't cooking, stay outta the kitchen!! I'll make the meals....lol

Yes, it is a sexist remark.

I like to cook and do much of the cooking at the firehouse when I'm on duty.

And there are plenty of professional chefs who are men.

Yea, that is pretty horrible!  What if the women doesn't happen to want kids...then what...shes just in the kitchen??  Well, I think that line of thinking by guys sucks!!!!  They have no right to tell the women where to be.

I didn't know you knew my brother-in-law. He would go one step further and put broken glass all over the yard and take all her shoes.

people say stupid things all the time.  instead of giving them the reaction they want, generally I point and laugh and walk away.  it's such a revealing thing to say, revealing just how insecure and idiotic they are, not worth the time of day.
