  1. They can be. Most people who are destined for greatness are humble.

  2. Well, it's better than swearing they're destined for a life of failure. I guess at school nowadays, they take more care of the people who are less likely to succeed. There's also more practical subjects, such as PE and hairdressing.

Also, celebrities have a much bigger influence on our lives now than 20 years ago. Most celebrities only become successful by "following their dreams", which is really their life guide and the advice they give people in interviews etc.

I'm no expert on life or anything ...but i say why not go for it. What's the point of having a life if you're not going to make it great?

  3. it's called 'wishful thinking.'

  4. Because no one wants to imagine that they'll become a loser.

  5. Because that's what they would like to be. Plus something happens when you think that way: You can start working towards it, convinced that you will reach greatness and voila! you do (Not always but you have better chances if you think you are destined for greatness and act like it than if you think you are destined to be a loser and you act like it)

  6. positive thinking never hurts....besides would you rather they insist that they are destined for doom?
