Why do some people talk so much when playing euchre on yahoo?

Don't get me wrong I like to talk to my partner a little when I play, but not after every single hand! I like to play fast games and I get sick and tired of people taking so long because they are typing back and forth to each other. It's not a chat room, it's a game room!! One time I didn't talk back to the other people at my table and they called me rude. I'm not a rude person, I just wanted to relax, not type every 10 seconds! Does anyone else agree with me?

You might want to look for a site where players are more serious. My experience with Yahoo poker and blackjack has been much the same. Players are more interested in the social aspect than the game itself. Nothing wrong with that; I'm sure there are sites devoted to Euchre players who are more interested in the game than the chat.
