Why do some people think a foot fetish is weird? ?

It seems like mainstream american society only accepts it if a man is obsessed with b***s or legs, but that people think any slight deviation from these two things is strange. Given the pedicure, high heel, toe ring, anklet industries etc.. you'd think more poeple would get over foot fetishes. It seems like many people recognize it quietly but then some people think its kinky when its really just pretty vanilla.

People are ignorant to anything they don't understand and find unusual.  Society has long tried to teach that different equals bad.

Well, Think about it. I mean most people just walk on them and wear shoes all day so they are often dirty smelly, crusty, Lots of untaken care of toenails that are pointy and ragged. People often get fungus on their feet that is hard to get rid of, so the general perception is, they are gross and smelly.  Now, me I gag when I think of that too, BUT when a chick has cute clean pedicured feet I can go as nuts for that as any of the rest of her... but most peeps just think of the negatives when you say feet.  Too bad huh?
