Why do some people think that flossing is a pain in the butt?

I do not think that it's because they're doing it wrong.  I think that it's just too repetative.  You have to floss everyday and make sure to get every tooth so that you wouldn't get cavaties, and by having to do it everyday, it gets a bit annoying, I'd think.
