Why do some people think that if a guy likes animals hes g*y?

there are some people i know who say that if your a guy and like animals your either transexual or g*y. why do people think this?

Depends what sort of animals.

My g*y best friend seems to prefer animals in the form of a mink coat and crocodile boots.

My uber-manly father likes big manly dogs that play fetch and swim and drool all over the place.

My boyfriend of sometimes questionable sexuality likes gross yippy little white dogs.

I've also known completely straight guys who have pet hamsters or fish tanks or budgies. I know a middle aged straight guy who cried when his hedgehog dies.

There are better ways of determining a person's sexuality. Such as whether they're interested in men or women.

Have you ever watched E-Vets or Animal Cops Houston, Phoenix, or San Francisco, a.s.o.?  Are all the totally cool, kind guys that work as animal investigator effeminate?

Does that make them g*y?

That is the craziest thing I have ever heard.  I don't think that at all, infact I love a guy who loves animals.
