Why do some people think that just because Micheal Phelps is such a good athlete that he has to be on drugs?

i think that people jump to conclusions about it because so many athletes before him have been found to be using drugs and other  people are also intimidated by his performances and others are probably just jealous of what a great athlete he really is and i think the people who say that are just being mean and i believe he is a really great athlete

because he is so good, and broke so many records that it seems plausible that he is on drugs, we all know hes not but his performances are mind boggling.
