Why do some people want to become a cop?

For some, law enforcement is family tradition, so unless they have physical disabilities, they'd have no choice.  Perhaps there is someone in their family or friends who are cops, and they want to be "just like them" when they grow up.  Others do it for the adventure and the thrills involved in it, the cast of characters you meet, the thrill of a car or foot chase, the adernailine of an arrest.  Others still, they do it because they want to serve and give back to their communities by enforcing the law in their towns, and some people go into it believing there aren't enough cops who care (working as youth advocates, etc; this I highly believe) and they want to go into it with a caring and helping heart.

Those who want to become a cop because they crave authority, and have issues with people/society, and have something they want to prove to the rest of the world, seriously need to reconsider this career option.

Some people want to become a cop, so they can have a job to protect their community and environment.  They have the interest to prevent danger from happening on the roads, and where else danger can happen.  Personally, I think some guys become cops just to be a "big-shot" so they can give out driving tickets; just for the fun of it.

they love their community and country also they don't or do want to serve in the military but things provent them to do so

Believe it or not, there are good people in this world

To help make the world better, to make people that commit crimes do the time...

My uncle became a cop because he wanted to help people and make the world a safer place.
