  1. I sometimes write my dream down if it really gets to me so I can look it up later or see if it has any significant meanings with my past dreams. You'd be suprised how much you'd find out about yourself. It's actually kind of creepy:o

    Hope I helped!

  2. It helps them remember the dream AND the dreams they are yet to have. Apparently, if you write down your dreams the minute you wake up in the morning, your memory won't be so hazy and blurry in the next few morning's to come, when you really want to remember your dreams. I read this on WikiHow a few weeks ago and there is probably very little scientific evidence to "back this up." I'm not going to bombard you with facts and statistics because this is the closest answer I have!

  3. they write their dreams so that it would remind them about what should they do and how much they want it

  4. Your likely to forget what happened in your dream in the morning so people write them down to remember.

People want to remember their dreams for various reasons, mainly because they want to understand why they had the dreams..etc.

  5. so they don't forget? lol

  6. Because some dreams have certain specific meaning in their life. Or it was a very moving dream, and they want to remember it for later use or something.

  7. When you directly wake up from your dream you'll remember it , But after you sleep You'll wake up again not knowing what you were Dreaming of .You'll only remember your dream right after you wake up . So people write them to remember them forever I guess .

  8. Because as you go through your day you tend to forget them. It makes it easier to remember if you write them down. You may have more clarity about something that happened in the dream later on in the day. Many people who write down their dreams like to look up what they mean later on.

  9. Well, I suppose it is often more interesting than listing grocery items.

There are a whole lot of books, published by Hocus Pocus, that supposedly interpret images in dreams.

Dreams are not always major forays by psychic energies into your brain. Sometimes they shed light on you or the things that are important in your life.

  10. Keeping a dream journal is a great way to train yourself to remember your dreams. If, when you wake up every morning, you stop and think about what you may have dreamed and write it down, you are more likely to have better dream recall. Some people keep track of their dreams to better understand their subconscious. People have many different reasons for keeping records of their dreams, some reasons are considered wierd to the rest of us so I'm not going to get into all that but it is often said that dreams are like a window to the soul, take from that what you will.

  11. Some people want to analyze dreams assigning some meaning to them.

In many of the ancient societies, including Egypt and Greece, dreaming was considered a supernatural communication or a means of divine intervention, whose message could be unravelled by those with certain powers

Interpretation of dreams is also a part of contemporary pop and new age culture.

  12. Because our dreams can be forgotton so easily, they can fade and get distorted the longer we try and remember. By writing them down, we remember them more vividly and more accurate, however, they will always be slightly hazy.
